There were more students gathered at the Plato today than ever before. They were all dressed up and in a great mood, as if they were at a party of some kind. There were many famous people in the crowd, also. The speakers were members of two popular rock groups, Deca Losih Muzicara and Kristali, and Sergej Trifunovic, actor.

In order to "bring light back to Belgrade", over 40,000 students walked the streets with lamps, flashlights, candles, torches and fireworks. They were accompanied by their colleagues from Kragujevac and Novi Sad, and many people who joined them in the streets.

The procession went down Vasina and Kolarceva st. across Terazije and Bulevar Revolucije, then down Takovska, past the building of RTS (Serbian National Radio-Television Network), and into Lole Ribara st. The students passed by the building of Politika (government controlled newspaper) and back to Plato. The gathering at Plato has been scheduled for its usual time [noon].
