Student Protest '96 - '97

January 7th, 1997

As Dusan Vasiljevic, spokesman for the Student Protest '96/97, already announced yesterday, there was no gathering of the students today, on Christmas, for this is a festivity traditionally celebrated with one's family.

However, the citizens of Belgrade stuck to their action of making noise during the evening report of the RTS, whistling and banging on pots, pans, etc. from their windows and balconies.

The next student gathering is scheduled for tomorrow, January 8, at 12:00 at the Plato.
