Over 25,000 students gathered at Plato today. They were addressed by numerous teachers and other guests who support our protest. Things went the usual way.

The route for today's Walk: Vasina, Kolarceva and Srpskih Vladara Street, then up Kneza Milosa Street to Andricev venac, then to Nikola Pasic Square, and back to Plato.

The procession stopped in front of the Presidency and a girl (our female colleague) walked between two rows of students with a bread as a sign of a good will (an Orthodox custom for the religious holiday - today it was a "Vavedenje" holiday) with a letter to the President.

The presidential security invited the Initiative Committee in. There were many foreign reporters present and the student representative asked the security to let them follow the Committee in, As the reporters weren't granted the permission to enter, the Committee refused to come in, stating that they don't have the right to negotiate behind the closed door.

The bread and the public letter to the President were left on the doorstep.

There were a couple of unwanted incidents today - the protest security had to stop the traffic themselves without the help of official traffic police, and when a student asked a policeman to stop the traffic for the procession to pass, he was roughly pushed back. A larger incident was avoided thanks to the help of the protest security which prevented students from interfering.
