The School of Mathematics is one of the few schools of the Belgrade University which has completely suspended classes and whose School Coouncil completely supports the students' demands. It is not so well known who represents the students in the Student Protest 96/97. The organizers of the Student Protest at the School of Mathematics are the members of the Executive Board of the Student Union of the School of Mathematics (SUMF) who comprise the protest board. Some of their functions are: coordination with the professors and the dean of the School of Mathematics, work with the press, the propaganda, organizing programs at the PMF, security... It is important to say that we are extremely satisfied with the cooperation with the professors, who promised that there would be no "sanctions" for the participants in the Protest, and all the lost lectures will be made up.
All the representatives of the School of Mathematics who are members of the boards of the Student Protest are also members of the Student Union of the School of Mathematics which is acknowledged and fully supported by the professors of our school.
