BELGRADE ELECTORAL COMMISSION VERIFIES ELECTIONS FOR THE
CITY ASSEMBLYOn Feb. 13, The
Belgrade electoral commission verified all 110 seats in
the Belgrade city assembly. The commission confirmed 67
seats won by the Zajedno coalition, 24 by the Socialist
Party of Serbia and the Yugoslav Left, 17 seats won by
the Serbian Radical Party and two won by the Democratic
Party of Serbia. The Serbian parliament speaker Dragan
Tomic has been officially informed of the city electoral
commission's decision and is now bound by law to convene
the city assembly inaugural session within five days.
