All individuals who sincerely want peace, from around the world are invited to participate, including those of Albanian, Serbian and American origins.

The people of Serbia feel misunderstood and unjustly demonized. They feel that irresponsible journalism, from all sides, is fueling hatred among people and not promoting peace and peaceful solutions to the conflict in Kosovo. We want to bypass journalists chosen by their respective governments and open the way for direct contact between people of Serbia and the outside world.

The people of Serbia would like to stop this carnage. They welcome every peace loving person from around the world to come to Belgrade and be their guest. Unfortunately they cannot provide comfortable housing at this time, but there will be a shelter for everyone and the Serbs will share everything they have with people who are willing to come.

You may already know that when NATO began its bombing campaign against Yugoslavia, the people of Belgrade spontaneously organized daily musical concerts. The people of Belgrade are organizing concerts because they are genuinely interested in peace and not war. They are defying war and bombs but not peace!

The more people come from all over the world, the stronger this message will be. Consider coming to Belgrade! If you can not, then write a statement and it will be sent to the people in Belgrade.
